I did 2500 Trav runs with a Horker: The Journey

The Horker is a creature in Skyrim, and has been described as the “perfect mount” for Trav. We decided to build an Elder Scrolls-inspired adventure based on this concept, but with some twists of our own. After completing it we wanted to share our experience with you.

The “d2 horker build” is a Horker-themed build that I did for the Xbox 360 game, “The Journey”. The build was done with a combination of my own skills and knowledge as well as help from others. It took me roughly 2500 hours to complete.

Over the last two weeks, I’ve completed 2500 Trav Runs with three distinct Barbarian builds. All of my builds, as well as all of the crucial drops I received, are listed here. It’s nearly as if I completed 1.53*2500=3825 runs since I’m working with an average item discovery rate of 53%.

For the first 320 runs, I ran using eBotD and Beast pair. At the conclusion of Run #270, I took a chance on a 15/10 Griffon’s. When I reached Run #320, I sold the Griffons for three Lo’s, then rolled and swapped to two Grief’s (38/390, 36/382), putting a stop to the arduous journeys to Hratli every ten runs.

I mostly focused on obtaining as much gold as possible while still being able to slay the council in a respectable period of time. I did this until Run #2000, when I became tired of gambling and traded out all of the gold find gear for increased kill speed for the last 500 runs. Run speed almost quadrupled, gold find dropped to a tenth of its previous level, and rune drop rates remained same.

My Hellfire Torch has a 16/16 rating.

Mercenary: Don’t waste your time. Azrael received eBotD, Fortitude, and Andy’s (15ias/24fr jeweled) from me. Regardless of the circumstances, he is crushed by conviction. I tried everything, including Guardian’s, Kira’s, and Reaper’s setups. There are no results to display.

FAQ:

– When you finished 2500 runs, how long did it take you? Approximately 12-13 days. I attempted to run 200 miles every day. I did 250 each of the previous two days.

– How many runs do you think it’ll take you to fill your gold stash? I had to wager every 30 runs while I was racing gold find. In 500 runs, I risked four times with the kill speed preset.
