Kirby and the Land of the Forgotten

The unveiling of a brand-new Kirby game was perhaps one of the greatest shocks of this year’s Nintendo Direct. The pink puffball awakens in a post-apocalyptic landscape littered with abandoned buildings from a bygone era.

Kirby will still absorb opponents’ abilities and fight with some familiar characters in this platforming adventure tale, which now features 3D gameplay. Fans will not have to wait long, as the film is set to be released in Spring 2022.

Monster Hunter: Sunbreak is the sequel to Monster Hunter: Rise.

The popular Monster Hunter Rise will get an expansion called Sunbreak in the summer of 2022. It’s a “huge expansion,” according to Nintendo, featuring new tales, monsters, and locations, as well as new hunting actions and quest levels.

Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons

A significant new upgrade for the very popular Animal Crossing game was also announced, with a November release date. More details will be revealed in October with a special Animal Crossing mini-Direct, according to Nintendo.
