Michael Bay should have stopped at which Transformers film. “The first one,” most fans who have endured disasters like Revenge of the Fallen and The Last Knight would say, and it’s an idea that even the filmmaker has warmed up to.
Bay stated that he had created too many Transformers movies in an interview with Unilad about his newest picture, Ambulance, which opens in cinemas next week in the United States, revealing that he had wanted to leave the series earlier. However, the money was just too enticing to pass up.
“I made too many,” Bay said. “‘Just stop at three,’ urged Steven Spielberg. And I vowed I’d put an end to it. The studio asked me to make a fourth, which grossed a billion dollars as well. Then I said, “I’m going to stop here.” They implored me once more. I should’ve just given up. “However, they were enjoyable to complete.”
Bay also discussed the development of the original Transformers film, noting that it was a terrible experience due to the film’s pioneering and very complicated computer-generated imagery. Lighting was a key difficulty for the movie’s visual effects creators, in addition to the many portions that took several hours of rendering.
“It was technology that we didn’t think would work, but it turned out to be incredibly effective,” Bay said. “It was the first time that computer effects were so intensely reflecting, so it was groundbreaking.” It was a great experience. It grossed more than [$709 million], which means a lot of movie tickets were sold and a lot of people saw it.”
Ambulance will be released in theaters throughout the United States on April 8, 2022. Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II feature in the film as two adopted brothers who hijack an ambulance during a bank heist. Some of Ambulance’s action moments were shot using drones, as shown in the brief below.

Overall, Bay’s contributions to the Transformers series have generated more than $4.5 billion, but the quality drop-off is a headache.
By Shia LaBeouf’s own admission, Revenge of the Fallen was a bit of a mess, despite the fact that it had no serious flaws of its own (this was the time of the writers strike). Dark of the Moon was a return to form, although one that was hampered by Megan Fox’s absence. If it hadn’t been for the Dinobots in Age of Extinction, we could have all been spared from The Last Knight, one of the most confusing movies of the decade. The visual effects, on the other hand, were incredible.
Despite record-breaking profits, even Bay admits he should have called it quits.
