The “best prophet build elden ring” is a guide on how to make the best builds for your character in Elden Ring. The article will give you all of the information that you need to know about how to make these builds, as well as what they do and why they are good.
The Prophet is a class with a high Faith and Mind starting stat, as well as good Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane. The Prophet’s statistics are somewhat different from the Prisoner’s. Whereas the Prisoner was ideal for Intelligence/Dexterity builds, the Prophet is better for Strength/Faith builds, since he already has the Faith needed for several weapons and Incantations.
The following are the Prophet’s beginning stats:
- Level 7 of the Rune
- 10 vigor
- Mind: 14
- 8 points for endurance
- 11th Strength
- 10 Dexterity
- 7 Intelligence
- 16 years of faith
- 10 Arcane
What Works Best For The Prophet When It Comes To Buildings?
Any construction that has Faith as a fundamental component will benefit from the Prophet. It doesn’t have to be the first stat you invest in, but you should make sure you have enough FP for your Incantations and maybe other Sorceries. You should start investing in Faith and a few other attributes when you obtain more Incantations and equipment that scale with Faith.
To help you get started with a Prophet, here is a build that is suitable for a new Prophet and will assist you in learning how to utilize Incantations.
Beginning Prophet’s Construction
This build is not dependant on equipment, which is ideal for individuals who prefer the Prophet’s Incantations over conventional battle. You should utilize the Catch Flame and Dragonfire Incantations, which are useful for instantly delivering a large amount of damage to foes. Catch Flame is more successful when there are fewer targets, but Dragonfire is better for groups.
The Prophet already has Catch Flame as their beginning weapon. Dragonfire must be collected from the Church of the Dragon Communion, and the Incantation requires 1 Dragon Heart (likely obtained early on from Flying Dragon Agheel, but any Dragon will do).

Using these Incantations will drain your FP quickly, and you do want to spend a good amount of stat points investing into Vigor and Mind to survive longer in combat. Once you have a decent amount invested (about halfway to the soft caps), you can switch to Faith & Arcane. You will need Arcane to be 12 in order to use Dragonfire, but it won’t be hard for the Prophet to reach that requirement.
The two most important metrics to focus on are vigor and mind (at the beginning)
Secondary stats that can help: Faith and Arcane (especially after Vigor & Mind are good enough)
The Sword of Night and Flame construct is a fantastic example of a build that benefits from the Faith investment. It is an excellent match for Prophet characters, even if it isn’t as powerful as it was before Patch 1.03.
Build a Night Sword and a Flame Sword
Using the Sword of Night and Flame will need the following:
- 12 Fortitude
- 12 adroitness
- Intelligence 24
- 24 Faith
To utilize the weapon, the Prophet will need to improve their Intelligence (which is now at 7), but they most likely already have the Faith investment. Only a few stat points would be required for Strength and Dexterity.
When you first receive the Sword, you may use it with the Meteorite Staff, but you’ll want to swap it out for the Prince of Death’s Staff as soon as possible.
Whether you’re battling a strong monster or a group of adversaries, the Night and Flame Stance will enable you to utilize powerful strikes that may do a lot of damage to your opponents. When used in conjunction with Rancorcall and/or Ancient Death Rancor, you may deliver a lot of damage to foes (and stagger them in the case of Ancient Death Rancor).
The best part about this build for the Prophet is that if you are coming off of the previous build, you already have a decent amount of stats invested into Vigor and Mind, allowing you to put more points towards Intelligence & Faith for this build to work.
Intelligence and faith are the two most important statistics to invest in.
Vigor and Mind are two secondary stats that may aid.
With this next construct, you may switch to employing spears in the late-game to keep working with the stat investments you made with the previous two builds.

Build a Prophet Spear in the Late Game
This build is amazing with the Treespear and may be boosted with Sacred Order or Electrify Armament depending on whether you want Holy or Electric damage. Sacred Order is already included with the Treespear, but you may enhance it with Golden Vow, an Incantation that’s excellent for a Prophet character (but useful on other classes as well).
You’ll also need a strong shield, like the Brass Shield, which you may improve with Barricade Shield. This minimizes the amount of Stamina damage you incur while blocking, allowing you to store your Stamina for attacking or blocking counters.
Lightning Spear is an Incantation that may be used to attack flying foes or adversaries that are tough to hit with your spear. Blessing’s Boon heals you and allows you to continue in the battle for longer.
Strength, Faith, and Endurance are the three main stats to focus on.
Stats that may be useful as a backup: Mind and Dexterity
The Prophet’s strong Faith makes him ideal for employing Incantations, which may give some early attack. When you uncover weapons that scale with Faith, you may start investing in other stats in order to wield them, then buffing them for more power or using Incantations for help.
While you may need to delve into other attributes depending on how you want to develop your Prophet, you can’t go wrong with an initial investment in Vigor and Mind, then moving on to other stats after you’ve found the weapons/Incantations you want to utilize.
