Anime Characters That Could Beat Light Yagami –

Light Yagami is the protagonist of the manga/anime series Death Note, which tells the story of a high school student who finds a notebook with an inscription that can kill anyone whose name is written in it. The protagonist decides to use this notebook to rid the world of criminals and evil-doers.

Light Yagami is a fictional character from the manga, Death Note. Light is an intelligent and skilled detective who uses his power to kill criminals. However, despite his skills, he has one weakness: he can’t beat anime characters.

Light Yagami has long been the gold standard for outstanding personalities.

His cat-and-mouse game with L was famous, as even the tiniest mistake might turn the fight around.

But what about the rest of the shows?

Is it possible that someone else might have defeated Light? Today, we’ll attempt to answer that question by looking at several anime characters that could (probably) defeat Light Yagami!

And, for the interest of justice, let’s start when Light was already suspected, since not every character has the same clout as L.

You can expect a lot of head canon and meta gaming!

Akane Tsunemori (10)

Psycho-Pass is a Japanese anime series.

I’d like to begin with a simple yet intriguing battle: Akane.

Dominator’s ability to detect Light’s crime coefficient would, of course, be the deciding factor in this battle. Because if it works, Akane won’t have to charge him with anything. She just needs to shoot.

In fact, if his crime coefficient is even close to being true, Light is being crushed to a pulp.

But what if, like Makishima, Light slips between the cracks?

The program would become a lot more fascinating as a result.

Despite the fact that Light would have the upper hand in this scenario, I believe Akane and Shinya have a chance, since Shougo was perhaps on par with Light in terms of intellect.

Kusuo Saiki (nine)

Kusuo Saiki in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

Anime: The Misadventures of Saiki K.

This one would be a bit of a letdown, but also a lot of fun.

Saiki, you see, could solve this problem even if he didn’t want to.

He can’t turn off his capacity to read people’s minds. It would only be a question of time, given the size of the range.

Especially when you consider Light’s own frenzied state of mind.

Furthermore, there’s a possibility that Reita may just notice Ryuk and call out to Saiki for help.

Saiki is just stacked, no matter how you look at it. And I believe it is self-evident that a physical fight would be as one-sided as possible.

Ai Enma (number 8)

Ai Enma Hell Girl anime

Hell Girl is a Japanese anime series.

I honestly believe that this would be a fantastic crossover.

If you haven’t seen this gem from the mid-2000s, it’s essentially Death Note with a contemporary twist.

Simply put in the name of someone you despise in this world, and Hell Girl will go over and terminate their life. It’s worth noting, though, that the individual who entered the name would die not long after.

So, if anybody believes Light is responsible for the murders, they can just enter his name into the search engine and call it a draw.

Could you image how uncomfortable it would be if Hell Girl showed up and saw Ryuk alone?

From my vantage point, they’re essentially business competitors.

7. Kakuzu

Kakuzu Naruto: Shippuden anime screenshot

Naruto: Shippuden is a Japanese anime series.

Next, I’d want to discuss this one, since I think it’s funny.

Why would Kakuzu triumph against Light?

Is he a brilliant individual? He’s not bad, but he’s not on Light’s level.

Is there any kind of hacking skill that enables him to locate Light? No, as well.

So, how is he going to accomplish it? Light, on the other hand, often kills his victims by inflicting a heart attack.

Kakuzu, on the other hand, has five hearts.

So all he has to do now is wait till he becomes a target and then see who is the most startled when he appears.

Even Light wouldn’t be able to conceal his surprise if one of his victims approached him the next day as if nothing had occurred.

Ryuuji Maesaka, No. 6

Darwin’s Game (Anime)

There are two major reasons why I believe Ryuuji will win this fight.

Ryuuji’s less significant benefit is that he wears a skull mask the most of the time, preventing Light from imagining his face and killing him right away.

The real kicker, though, is Ryuuji’s ability to detect deception.

At that point, the questioning would be reduced to a stressful 20-question game.

If anybody objects, Ryuuji also carries a machinegun with him. As a result, he has the ability to persuade others.

Nana Hiiragi, No. 5

Nana Hiiragi from Talentless Nana anime

Nana, the Talentless Anime

This is one of the few choices on here that I believe is just a matter of talent.

Nana is, in essence, doing the same thing as Light:

She’s hanging around with individuals who suspect her, but she’s also murdering people without being caught.

Nana’s games, on the other hand, seemed to be a little more serious than Light’s.

Not only did she murder the victims with her own hands, but she was also the only one there who lacked superhuman powers, while Light was the polar opposite.

Now, I don’t want to minimize my son Light by claiming that he would lose 100 percent of the time.

However, I believe there’s a possibility he’ll be outclassed by this pink-haired assassin.

Lelouch Lamperouge, No. 4

Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass anime

Code Geass is a Japanese anime series.

When it comes to Light, this is one of the most popular matchups, and for good reason:

Both of the characters are fantastic.

In this fight, though, I believe Lelouch has the upper hand.

Light can’t even affect him if he’s using the guise of Zero.

Second, his Geass, in my view, is much more flexible than the Death Note. He might just use it to force Light to confess, or he could take a page from L’s book and send death-row convicts after him until he figures out how the Death Note works and how to counter it.

Let’s not forget that Lelouch organized a whole revolution rather than just murdering criminals without being discovered. As a result, I believe his strategic game is a little more refined.

Rohan Kishibe is number three on the list.

Rohan Kishibe from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable is an anime series based on the manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

I wanted to follow up with Rohan after Lelouch since I believe this mangaka has a stronger arsenal than our revolution commander.

Rohan, like the Geass, can turn anybody into a book and learn everything about them as well as put particular instructions in it.

So all Rohan needs is for Light to be in the same room as him in order for him to declare victory.

There isn’t much you can conceal from his Stand. From there, he may either force you to confess to your misdeeds, or he can make you forget about the Death Note and keep it for himself.

Rohan would win in this notepad versus notebook fight.

2. Natsuki Subaru

Subaru Natsuki from Re: Zero anime

Re: Zero is a Japanese anime series.

It’s difficult to say that Subaru would have an easy victory, but it would be a foregone conclusion.

If you haven’t seen the program (yet), know that everytime Subaru is murdered, he is transported back in time a specific amount of time.

And this may go indefinitely.

Subaru essentially just needs to keep sprinting against the wall known as Light’s intelligence from there, and he’ll win eventually.

Subaru, however, can only lose this fight if Light never kills him (or anyone else he knows) in the first place.

But, really, what are the chances that this will happen? Especially when you consider the tumultuous company Subaru has surrounded itself with.

Johan Liebert is one of the most well-known actors in the world.

Johan Liebert from Monster anime

Monster Anime

I’d want to finish my list with Johan because, paradoxically, I believe it would be the most exciting fight ever seen in anime.

Johan is a genius in every sense of the word. And having him psychologically spar with Light would be just as stressful and exciting as Light’s initial fight with L.

I’d go so far as to suggest it would be even more intriguing.

Johan, on the other hand, I believe would triumph.

This is due to the fact that relatively few people see Johan’s face and survive long – and, more significantly, almost no one knows his actual name.

Just thinking about this fight gives me chills!
