AMD has announced a new GPU, the “AMD Radeon PRO V620,” for demanding cloud workloads. The card is designed to handle compute-intensive tasks that require high performance and low latency in a HPC or enterprise environment.
The Radeon PRO V620 is a high-performance RDNA 2 GPU built for cloud workloads ranging from current office productivity apps to AAA gaming experiences, according to AMD. There are 4,608 Stream Processors, 72 Compute Units, 32 GB of 16 Gbps GDDR6 ECC memory, 512 GB/s memory bandwidth, and a 256-bit memory interface on the GPU. It also comes with 128 GB of Infinity Cache, which boosts efficiency and speed.
