There are a lot of strong characters in anime, and most of them have power that rival or surpass Ken Kaneki. However, these 10 can beat the main character from Tokyo Ghoul because they not only show superior skills but also their own unique powers.
Ken Kaneki is one of the most popular characters in the anime series “Tokyo Ghoul”. He has a very interesting and complex story. Ken Kaneki can transform into his strongest form, which is called “Ken Kaneki: One Eyed King”. So, in a strange tribute to a program I used to like, we’re looking at some anime characters who could whack Kaneki in the face.
10. Dazai, Osamu
Bungo Stray Dogs is a Japanese anime series.
The head-canon that Kaneki’s ghoul abilities may be turned off is extensively used in this matchup.
When you consider that his abilities are extremely comparable to Atsushi’s (healing and buffed-up attacks), I believe it is possible.
And if Kaneki goes back to being a regular person, he’s doomed. He has some rudimentary training and can throw a few punches, to be sure. But he’ll never be able to beat Dazai.
After all, we’re talking about a former Port Mafia all-star.
The way I understand it, Kaneki tosses forth his Kagune, which Dazai touches and negates his ability. Dazai sprints at the befuddled Kaneki and beats him to death from that point on.
This is, without a doubt, the most contentious choice on the list. But, hey, if it’s clear, it’s no fun.
Kurapika (nine)
Hunter x Hunter is a Japanese anime series (2011)
This one, like the last one, has a few requirements that must be satisfied in order for it to operate.
Specifically, either Kaneki joins the Phantom Troupe or Kurapika applies his Nen limitation to Kaneki in particular.
Kurapika must also be wearing the Emperor Time buff. Because if he doesn’t have it active, he’s just fodder.
Now that everything has been set up, we can discuss why Kaneki is destroyed.
In terms of range, I’d say Kurapika has the upper hand. Although Kaneki’s Kagune has a good range, Kurapika’s chains seem to span a far larger region.
This is significant because it implies that Kurapika has the ability to finish the conflict before it starts. He only needs to activate Chain Jail before piercing Kaneki’s heart.
Chain Jail would cut off Kaneki’s regen and make his death instantaneous and inevitable, if we’re still thinking of Kaneki’s ghoul numbers as an ability.
8. Metal Bat
One Punch Man is a Japanese anime series.
Kaneki, who has lost control, transforms into a massive centipede. Metal Bat has battled enormous centipedes and come out on top.
Is there anything more I can say? Probably.
Kaneki has been stabbed more times than one can count, so saying he’s tough isn’t really a compliment. However, all things considered, “guy with a bat” is rather equivalent.
He can’t regrow limbs, but he can be flung across half of the city and bounce back if nothing happened.
I’d even argue he outperforms Kaneki in terms of devastating power.
Even one critical strike will reverberate throughout the enemy’s whole body and kill them from the inside out, as we saw when he faced the centipede. Garou might have easily been slain with a full-powered swing.
When you consider that Garou really survived a punch from Saitama, this is rather astounding.
Metal Bat once again triumphs in terms of speed, as he maintained up with the bullet-speed Garou. So, I believe he just outperforms him in every area.
It’s also humorous to me. Kaneki is the prototypical edgy anime character. So getting thrashed by a regular guy with a terrible temper and a metal bat is the height of comedy for me.
Kai Chisaki is number seven.
My Hero Academia is an anime series based on the manga My Hero Academia.
This fight’s victory condition is essentially the same as Dazai’s, but with a little more depth.
To begin with, Chisaki does not even have to reach Kaneki’s main body to win. He can just disintegrate Kaneki’s whole body on a molecular level if he succeeds to capture one of his Kagune for a second.
The fact that ghoul form is a power has no bearing on this duel. So that’s something I’ve got going for me.
Chisaki is also capable of dealing with Kaneki’s centipede form. To level the battlefield, all he had to do was touch a bit of it, disintegrate it, and then build his own huge flesh suit.
The only way I can see Kaneki winning this is if he goes straight for Chisaki’s head and blitzes him. However, it seems to be a stretch.
Voltia, luck
Black Clover is a Japanese anime series.
Given that one of Kaneki’s last bouts was against Juuzou (who wore electricity-type power armor), this seems to be an intriguing matchup.
Luck, on the other hand, has a much greater scale than Juuzou. Luck is a freak of nature when it comes to speed. He has the ability to avoid point-blank blasts and travel at a teleportation-like speed.
Plus, Luck has a lot of devastating potential. Even while he’s having fun, he can summon massive electric arrows that can damage enemies from kilometers away.
So, in addition to battling Kaneki in melee range, he can also flee and bombard Kaneki with assaults from distance.
Sure, Luck’s persistence pales in comparison to Kaneki’s. But I don’t believe it makes a difference. Kaneki can keep up with normal humans who have been trained to some level, therefore a human thunderbolt should be much out of his league.
Itachi Uchiha, No. 5

Given Kaneki’s status as Hot Topic’s poster child, it was only natural for him to square up against another well-liked edgelord.
And Itachi cleans up after him like a pro.
Kaneki doesn’t have a chance in a physical fight.
Itachi can keep up with the Naruto universe’s top levels at a rate that is close to light speed. Plus, regardless of Kaneki’s shape, his Totsuka blade can one-shot him on contact.
But that’s tedious.
This bout, in my opinion, will end with Itachi winning by a single point. Kaneki’s mental state is notoriously unstable, therefore a somewhat morbid genjutsu would almost certainly cause him to lose all hope.
You may argue that genjutsu doesn’t work on Kaneki because of the voices in his brain, yet he still loses. This seems to be a more ruthless triumph.
4. Akame
Akame ga Kill! is a Japanese anime.
Akame is just too strong.
You can only defeat her by having stone skin and/or not possessing a soul. Kaneki’s regeneration meets none of these requirements, hence he’s effectively dead.
This is because Akame’s sword only requires a single cut to suck away your soul and leave your body behind. And Kaneki isn’t recognized for his defensive abilities.
Would you, on the other hand, prioritize evading when you can just heal the majority of the damage? I certainly wouldn’t.
And it’s not even a matter of whether or not Akame would get a strike in, given how quickly she outruns Kaneki.
Overall, this combat would be incredibly brief and monotonous. But I can see that occurring since being cursed is something Tokyo Ghoul will bring at some time.
3. Ban
The Seven Deadly Sins (Anime)
I’m mainly referring to the early game ban, since the post-hell ban seems excessive.
You can’t truly out-scale a person who is virtually immortal in terms of perseverance. In that regard, Ban has the upper hand.
Ban demolished a fortress while just playing with Meliodas in terms of strength. Kaneki, on the other hand, has to go all out to reach even building-level destructive power. Ban gets another point.
So why did I choose such a one-sided fight?
Because I’m intrigued by the prospect of Kaneki consuming a piece of Ban.
Is he now immortal as well? Is it possible that Ban’s flesh would leave Kaneki’s stomach as he regenerated?
I can quickly provide no answer and move on now that I’ve sowed the seed of thinking anarchy.
2. Eren Yeager is a character in the film Eren Yeager
Attack on Titan is a Japanese anime series.
Kaneki is unable at dealing with large foes. At least not the Kaneki we’re familiar with from the anime. As a result, Eren would be a natural foe.
Kaneki can puncture people, but I really doubt he could pierce a Titan’s complete body (especially not if he is using Hardening). Plus, unless you know Titan anatomy, targeting the nape of the neck isn’t exactly the first fighting strategy you’d think of.

Mahito is the most comparable to Kaneki in terms of theme. As a result, this felt like a fitting conclusion.

Sure, Mahito just has a rudimentary understanding of how to operate it.
However, even the tiniest advantage would be enough to put a stop to this fight.
