Sony has accidentally disclosed the price for its new XR-55A95K and XR-65A95K televisions, which are significant for being among the first to incorporate QD-OLED screens.
The 55-inch XR-55A95K is likely to cost $3,000, according to HDTVTest’s Vincent Teoh, while the 65-inch XR-65A95K will cost $4,000. These costs seem to be much more than LG’s W-OLED rivals, but the premiums should be justified based on some of the QD-early, OLED’s good impressions.
Thanks to a mix of QD-OLED panels and XR OLED Contrast Pro technology, Sony claims that its XR-55A95K and XR-65A95K TVs can provide 200 percent more color brightness than traditional TVs. They also include Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR, a groundbreaking processor that can “reproduce content the way people perceive and hear for an astonishingly realistic experience,” according to the firm.
