VeraEsports has been working with the Valoranant Champions Tour, to bring its official eSports Partner into their family. The two organizations have partnered up for a variety of projects in order to promote and develop esports globally
The “valorant champions tour 2022” is an upcoming professional gaming tournament that will be hosted in Australia. The VALORANT Champions Tour APAC will take place on November 22, 2022.
VeraEsports, Verasity’s competitive eSports and video streaming platform, has been designated the VALORANT championship’s official eSports partner. The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Asia-Pacific (APAC), Southeast Asia, Challengers 2022 is one of the events featured in the cooperation. VALORANT is one of the most popular games in today’s eSports market, with over 46 million hours of gameplay seen to date.
In its tactical shooter matches, VALORANT uses the 5v5 criterion, and the VALORANT Champions Tour is already in its second year, after the success of its first tour in 2021, which drew over 1,200 teams from around the APAC area. To begin, the VALORANT Champions Tour is a year-long competition in which teams from all over the world compete in three levels: Challengers, Masters, and Champions.
The audience for the 2021 event peaked at nearly one million people and averaged about 500,000 during the event. With VeraEsports’ recent selection as official eSports broadcasting partners for the VALORANT Champions Tour APAC, VeraeSports viewers will have access to unique material. Match highlights, additional features, and access to an exclusive library of material are all included.
In Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, VeraEsports will be accessible. As of today, it marks one of Riot Games’ major eSports collaborations in the APAC area. VeraEsports’ founder, RJ Mark, said:
Riot Games and the VCT have renewed and enhanced their cooperation, which we are happy to continue. Our objective is to enable fresh and groundbreaking community experiences, and this year we’re bringing even more value to the table with a unique VCT content center on VeraEsports. Both VOD-based material and live broadcasts will now be available for the community to Watch and Earn. We’ve barely scratched the surface of what we can do with Riot Games, and we’re looking forward to adding much more value in the future.
The ‘Watch and Earn’ program will be available during the VCT APAC Tournament, allowing eSports fans to earn points and redeem them for special gifts while watching their favorite eSports competitions. VeraEsports will be beta testing its unique Proof of View (POV) technology, which is being developed by its parent company Verasity to prevent fraudulent advertising viewing, at the next VALORANT Champions Tour APAC. Chris Tran, the Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau Head of Esports, added:
This relationship exemplifies the VCT’s regional strength and expansion potential. Despite the fact that VALORANT Esports was just started a year ago, our community has shown tremendous interest and enthusiasm. We’re excited to collaborate with VeraEsports this year to make VCT APAC even better by offering the greatest VCT content to our players and fans throughout the area.
