AMD Ryzen 7000 Series “Zen 4” Processors Expected to Launch in Q3 2022
In June of this year, AMD announced that it would launch its first 7-nanometer Ryzen CPUs in Q2 2019. This new process will bring about significant improvements to performance metrics like power and latency as well as overall efficiency for both gaming and compute workloads.
AMD is expected to launch its “Zen 4” Processors in Q3 2022. The new processors will be built on a 5nm process which is more power efficient than the previous generation of Ryzen processors. Read more in detail here: amd 5nm cpu release date.

AMD hasn’t given a firm the date of the launch for its Ryzen 7000 Series “Zen 4” CPUs, just stating that they’ll arrive in the second half of 2022, but Greymon55 seems to have a clearer idea of when they’ll be accessible to fans. According to the leaker, AMD will ship its next-generation chips before the end of Q4, implying a Q3 release based on AMD’s previous timelines. The debut date for the Ryzen 7000 Series is expected to be revealed at this year’s Computex, which runs from May 24 to May 27. Greymon55 also said that AM5 motherboards would be available in the near future, potentially as early as this month.

Rumors point to a Computex announcement and an early Q3 launch for AMD Ryzen 7000 ‘Zen 4’ CPUs, which are expected to arrive sooner than expected (Wccftech)
- What could happen is we get more information and details at Computex but AMD announces a more concrete the date of the launch in its presentation pointing to either July or August 2022 as the official retail launch of its Ryzen 7000 lineup.
- AMD’s AM5 platform has a number of new features as well as a new LGA 1718 socket that will enable AMD’s upcoming Zen 4 processors. This also means that AMD’s forthcoming Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor will only last a few months before being replaced with a superior Zen 4-based choice.
- […] Why are you launching so soon? Well, AMD may have felt the heat from Intel’s latest 12th Gen Alder Lake range, which has surpassed team red in terms of gaming performance, efficiency, and pricing. Intel is also expecting to release its 13th Gen Raptor Lake series in Q3 2022, extending their advantage even further. AMD doesn’t want Intel to have any influence over them, therefore Zen 4 might have pushed the launch date forward.
