A lot of esports fans are looking to the future in order to help the games industry evolve. We can’t wait for next year’s ELeague finals, but we’re also excited about what 2018 has in store. Esports is only getting started, so join us as we discuss how it will change and grow over time!
The “is gaming a sport” is a question that has been debated for years. The discussion was brought up again this week with the release of the first ever esports game, Fortnite: Battle Royale.

- HeroesCCL Season 3’s champions are the 30k! They defeated Simplicity, the winners of the previous two CCL seasons, 4-0 in the Grand Final.

Winter X-Cup (EU)
- The X-Cup Winter is the third installment of Khaldor’s X-Cup, a top-tier European event.
- Between January 2nd and February 2nd, ten qualifications will be held on Wednesdays and Sundays. The top eight teams in points after the qualifications will advance to the playoffs, which will be held February 24-27.
- The total prize pool is 4000€.

- Defrost Miami LAN is an offline tournament that will take place on February 5-6, 2022 at NXT LVL Gaming in Miami.
